TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR

This tool is very interesting for creating filling the gaps exercises from songs. The advantage is that it's possible to choose the favourite songs of your students.

It´s  very easy to use.  The only thing we have to do is to pick up a song and choose the level, beginner, intermediate or expert.

I hope you enjoy it.

This activity has been thought to revise  the vocabulary of the Universe. Click on the image.

LITLLE RED RIDING HOOD

Wordle: Little red riding hood

Wordle generates words clous from a given text. You can create your own wordle. With this activity children can guess the tale, they can also predict an ending for the story or it can be use to practice spelling too. I copied LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD tale to work with it. Speaking, reading and spelling skills can be practice with this software. I hope you enjoy it.

This is an activity made with puzzlemaker to practice vocabulary related to family

ANIMALS

This's a good software for speaking practice. It´s  called VOXOPOP. It´s  a very easy and intuitive software. Talkgroups can be started and it offers the possibility of inviting others to your talkgroup.

I hope you enjoy it

GUESS WHO?

This is one of my favourite games to play with children. I am sure you know it. “ Guess Who?”. It´s   speaking practice and it gives them the opportunity of practicing questions between them. So, they have to ask and answer each other.

This would be good practice for primary   third cycle

The kind of questions would be similar to the ones below:

Is it a girl or a boy?

Is she wearing hat?

Has he got blond hair?

Is she smiling?

LET´S TALK ABOUT A STORY

This kind of activity is very comprehensive because it´s possible to practise not only listening and reading skills but also speaking.

Children love stories, so the best way to teach them is though them.

There are lots of these kinds of stories on the internet, so it´s easy to choose the ones that are suitable to the children ages.

Red and Black Ants
After listening and reading the story  ( it´s subtitle in OV ) we will start with   speaking practice, asking  questions such as:

What did they do ?

How many ants are in the story ?
Which line was shorter?
