GUESS WHO?

This is one of my favourite games to play with children. I am sure you know it. “ Guess Who?”. It´s   speaking practice and it gives them the opportunity of practicing questions between them. So, they have to ask and answer each other.

This would be good practice for primary   third cycle

The kind of questions would be similar to the ones below:

Is it a girl or a boy?

Is she wearing hat?

Has he got blond hair?

Is she smiling?

  1. I love this game too, Merche.

I think it's a good way of making children talk and, even though, it can be used not only with people but also with animals, so they practice another kind of vocabulary (legs, paws, tail, fur, fins…), what do you think?

    1. Hello Monica,

You are right. Children love this game.
I normally play " Guess who "with my son and daughter in Spongebob versión and I assure you that it ´s a good fun. It can be played with all sorts of versions and different vocabulary.

  2. I knew this game from my childhood, but did not know about this use in class. I'll keep it as a resource for the future!

    Thanks!

    1. Hello Vivian,

Try it in the future when you have the chance to do it. It´s a good resource.

  3. Nice, Merche :)

From my point of view, this game is a terrific tool for teaching kids how to build simple questions in English (I mean the basic interrogative sentence structure) and practice it in an enjoyable way.

    Thank you, I'll recover it!

    1. Hello Borbulina,

I agree with you. It´s not easy for children to learn the interrogative sentence stucture and this game gives them the opportunity to practice it all the time.

      Mercedes
